Student Secures 2nd Place After Recount of Marks in Intermediate Exams 2024

In an unprecedented event, a student’s rank in the 2024 intermediate exams has changed unexpectedly after a marks recount. Afaq Khalid, a student from a private college, originally scored 1119 marks in the pre-medical group.

However, after expressing concerns, he requested a recount through the Lahore board, which resulted in an additional 30 marks, bringing his total to 1149.

This adjustment elevated Afaq to the second position in his group. The Lahore board issued a revised result card to confirm his new standing and has initiated an investigation into the checking and counting processes of the exams.

The controller of examinations at the Lahore board stated they will announce Afaq’s updated position and hold a celebration in his honor.

Zahid Mian emphasized the seriousness of the situation and assured that strict actions would be taken against those responsible for any errors in the initial assessment of marks.
