In a press conference after the PPP’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that his party didn’t have enough numbers to form its own government. He mentioned that there were two groups that received more seats in the National Assembly compared to the PPP. The PPP will support the prime minister candidate of PML-N, and Bilawal added that his party will not seek any ministries at the federal level. Despite concerns, the PPP has accepted the election results in the larger interest of the country. Bilawal emphasized that the PPP does not want the country to hold another election, as it would harm the nation.

He stated that the PPP will engage with political parties on the issue of votes and the election of the prime minister, assuring the public that the parliament will be formed as a forum to resolve issues. Bilawal also expressed his personal wish for his father, Asif Ali Zardari, to be the next president, stating that he is the person who can control the situation in the country.
