Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Joins World Leaders at Brussels Nuclear Energy Summit Today

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is currently in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, to represent Islamabad at the inaugural two-day Nuclear Energy Summit. With his extensive political experience, Dar will articulate Pakistan’s stance on the use of nuclear capability for the betterment of humanity and highlight the excellent safety record of Pakistan’s nuclear facilities.

 

During the summit, FM Dar will engage in bilateral discussions with leaders and foreign ministers from other participating countries. His presence at the event is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and promote a shared understanding of the peaceful utilization of nuclear energy.

Several world leaders are expected to attend the summit, including French President Macron, US climate envoy John Podesta, Chinese President Xi’s special representative, the President of the European Commission, the Belgian Prime Minister, and the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
