COVID Vaccine Not Behind Heart Attacks, Say Experts Amid Rising Fear

COVID

Following the sudden death of a teacher in Lahore, fresh concerns are spreading across social media about a possible link between COVID-19 vaccines and heart attacks in young people. But top cardiologists from Pakistan and India have firmly denied these claims, calling them baseless and scientifically unfounded.

Dr. Nadeem Rizvi, a senior cardiologist, stated that no credible global study has shown an increase in heart attacks among vaccinated individuals. While a few rare cases of mild myocarditis have been reportedβ€”mostly in young menβ€”they were treatable and not life-threatening.

A large study by India’s AIIMS and ICMR reviewed over 300 sudden deaths and found no connection to COVID-19 vaccines. Most of the cases were due to coronary artery disease, worsened by poor lifestyle choices or hereditary factors.

Experts warn the real culprits are unhealthy diets, stress, smoking, and lack of medical checkups. They urge the public to focus on heart health and stop linking vaccines to every sudden death without medical proof.
