A doctor in the Lodhran district’s Dunyapur tehsil is being investigated for alleged severe medical negligence. A little girl was sent to the hospital for an appendix operation, but the doctor inadvertently left a towel inside her tummy during the procedure, which was distressing.
The girl’s father acted quickly, filing an official complaint with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

Concerned about his daughter’s health, he sought additional medical attention in Islamabad. Doctors in the capital city performed an operation and made a surprising discovery: a towel was discovered within the girl’s abdomen, verifying the doctor’s charges in Dunyapur. The girl’s father is now pleading with the PMDC to take harsh measures against the guilty doctor and revoke his medical licence.
He emphasises the importance of keeping medical personnel accountable in order to prevent similar scary occurrences from occurring again. As a result, the authorities are anticipated to conduct an investigation.
