ISLAMABAD – A deadly suicide blast shook Islamabad’s Kachehri area on Tuesday, killing 21 people and injuring more than two dozen, authorities confirmed.
Islamabad police reported that the head of the suicide bomber was recovered at the scene. Security teams swiftly secured the area and began collecting information about the vehicle and possible triggers involved in the attack. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the suicide blast and whether any safety protocols were violated.
Medical teams confirmed that all injured individuals were immediately taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for treatment.
