Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has elaborated on his decision to retire from international cricket, emphasizing that while he is committed to his retirement, he remains open to returning if the national team requires his services.

Imad expressed the importance of clarity for senior players regarding Pakistan’s cricketing future and highlighted his willingness to contribute as a senior player, guiding the team in alignment with his vision.

The 35-year-old, who retired across all formats in November 2023, stressed the need for Pakistan to play cricket in the right way with the right players. Despite his retirement, Imad continues to participate in global T20 leagues, hoping for positive developments in the future.

Having played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s successes, including the Champions Trophy in 2017, Imad Wasim remains a seasoned figure in the cricketing world.
