The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar have officially concluded, but the buzz surrounding the glamorous affair continues to linger. From the spectacle of seeing Bollywood’s three Khans dancing together to detailed guides for attendees circulating online, the recent Ambani wedding has captivated everyone’s attention.
Amidst the grand displays of star power and luxury, one particular outfit worn by the groom’s sister, Isha Ambani, has become the talk of the town. While others opted for traditional jewelry for the events, the daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani donned a blouse at one of the gatherings made entirely of jadau jewelry from her personal collection.

Designed by renowned designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, the ensemble was encrusted with diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and various other precious stones. Taking to Instagram, the designers revealed insights into the creation process. They explained that the jewelry used for the blouse was sourced from Isha’s personal collection and meticulously stitched onto a red fabric base according to their fashion concept.
Sandeep elaborated, saying, “Isha provided all the little pieces of jadau jewelry she owns. There’s polki, ruby, diamonds, emeralds – you name it, it’s there.” The accompanying caption to their post delved into further detail about the making process, revealing that both existing pieces from Isha’s collection and new jewels sourced from Gujarat and Rajasthan were utilized. These were then dismantled and reinvented into couture, with each jewel carefully placed on hand-drawn paper patterns before being incorporated into the garment through rounds of artistic experimentation and Zardozi work.
The pre-wedding festivities commenced with a concert by Rihanna, her first in almost seven years. Subsequent days saw Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan stealing the spotlight as they took to the stage together for a dance performance. Diljit Dosanjh also entertained guests with a live performance, followed by an appearance from international popstar Akon.
