A 95-year-old Kenyan man, Ibrahim Mbogo, married his 90-year-old long-time love, Tabitha Wangui, this past weekend, six decades after they first met, according to local reports on Monday.
The couple exchanged vows in a white wedding ceremony at a church in Mukurweini, a town three hours northeast of Nairobi, Kenya’s capital, as reported by Citizen Digital.

Mbogo shared that they fell in love in 1960 and decided that a church wedding would be wonderful, even though they were already married under Kikuyu customs.
For the ceremony, Mbogo wore a grey suit with a silver tie, and Wangui donned a white hat with a cream brocade jacket over a white outfit. Wangui advised that respect is key to a long-lasting relationship, urging women to respect their husbands and apologize when necessary.
