Stage actress Nargis and her husband Majid Bashir have reconciled, leading to the withdrawal of the interim bail petition by Bashir in the Lahore District and Sessions court.
An additional sessions judge heard Bashir’s request for interim bail, with the defense arguing that the allegations made by Nargis were false.

The petition highlighted that the matter was a private dispute between the couple, urging the court to grant bail. During the proceedings, both parties submitted a reconciliation agreement to the court.
Nargis’ lawyer informed the court that the couple’s family members had played a key role in facilitating the reconciliation, and Nargis chose to forgive her husband at their request.
The agreement ensured that both parties would adhere to the terms of the settlement. As a result, Bashir withdrew his interim bail request, and the court dismissed the petition.
Earlier, Nargis had filed an assault case against her husband at the Defence C Police Station.
