TikToker Alina Amir has registered an FIR against people involved in creating and sharing her fake, AI-generated video. She said she will take legal action against everyone connected to the incident.
The FIR was filed nearly two weeks after a controversial clip went viral on social media. Later, it was revealed that the video was a deepfake. In the clip, Alina Amir’s face was digitally placed on another person’s body. The content was then spread online to damage her reputation.
At first, Alina Amir chose to remain silent. She said she was observing the situation for about a week. During this time, many posts appeared online claiming that her video had been leaked. As the claims grew, she decided to respond through legal channels.
In a video message, she confirmed that a formal case had been registered. She also shared a screenshot of the FIR. She made it clear that she would not stay silent and would fight back.
According to her statement, the FIR includes everyone involved in the incident. This covers those who created the deepfake video, as well as those who shared or reposted it. She warned that all offenders would face legal consequences.
Alina Amir also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Provincial Minister Hina Parvez Butt, and the NCCIA for their support. She said the help she received encouraged her to take action.
She explained that she is speaking up not only for herself but for other girls who face similar situations. Many victims, she said, stay silent out of fear or social pressure. She urged them to raise their voices and seek justice.
The TikToker added that such controversies often fade within days. However, she chose not to stay quiet. She said her decision was meant to prevent similar incidents in the future.
