Alizeh Shah Reveals Why She Deleted All Instagram Posts “I’m Happy and Ashamed”

Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has once again deleted all her photos and posts from Instagram, but this time, she has shared the emotional reason behind her decision. The popular television star revealed that she felt both “happy and ashamed” about her past actions and wanted to make a fresh start.

A recent video of Alizeh Shah has gone viral on social media, where she candidly spoke about her mental state and personal struggles. She explained that her decision to remove all content stemmed from feelings of grief and confusion about her life. “I didn’t understand myself then.

Everything I posted was coming from a place of pain,” she said. The actress added that after deleting her posts, she felt a mix of happiness and regret, realizing how far she has come emotionally.

This is not the first time Alizeh Shah has spoken openly about her mental health. Earlier, she revealed that she has been living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to difficult experiences in the entertainment industry.

She admitted that the challenges she faced left her mentally exhausted and made her question her career choices. “The things I faced made me hate myself for being part of showbiz,” she confessed in a previous video.

Once considered one of the most talked-about stars on Pakistani television, Alizeh has stayed away from dramas for a while. Most of her public appearances have been through social media, where she often received mixed reactions for her bold fashion sense. Despite criticism, she once said her mother never restricted her clothing choices, showing her confidence and independence.

Interestingly, this is not Alizeh’s first Instagram reset. She deleted all her posts twice before — once in September last year and again in April this year.

However, her latest decision appears to be a deeper and more personal step toward healing. In her video, she said she does not know when she will return online, but made it clear that “the old Alizeh or old photos will not come back.”
