Lahore Sessions Court has approved the forensic examination of Aroob Jatooi’s mobile phone in the ongoing betting app promotion case.
Aroob Jatooi, wife of popular content creator Ducky Bhai, appeared in court along with her lawyers, Usman and Aftab Advocate, for the hearing on her interim bail application.
The hearing was presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi. During proceedings, the investigating officer requested a forensic analysis of Aroob Jatooi’s mobile phone, which the court granted.
The defense team asked that the forensic report, expected to take more than a week, be scheduled after Ramadan. The court also extended Aroob Jatooi’s interim bail until March 24.
Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi emphasized that Aroob Jatooi must be present at all future hearings. He stated no further exemptions from attendance would be allowed under the interim bail arrangement.
The case against Aroob Jatooi was registered by the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NCCIA) in connection with allegations of promoting a betting app. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are expected to review the forensic report once completed.
