Veteran Pakistani actress Atiqa Odho has shared an interesting memory about her son’s unusual request during her early acting career.

The actress recalled how her growing popularity affected her children when she entered Pakistan’s entertainment industry in the early 1990s.

During her first podcast, featuring actor Junaid Khan as a guest, she discussed her experiences as a working mother.

She revealed that her son, Bilal, once asked her never to visit his school because of her celebrity status.

Son Asked Atiqa Odho to Stay Away From His School

The actress explained that her children were still young when she began receiving widespread recognition.

At the time, her son Bilal was studying at Aitchison College, one of Pakistan’s well-known educational institutions.

As her popularity increased, Bilal became concerned about his mother’s presence at school.

According to the actress, her son made her promise that she would never visit him at Aitchison College.

“He made me swear and promise that I would never visit him at school,” she recalled.

Bilal reportedly told his mother that he did not want other boys to see her at school.

The actress said she understood his feelings and decided to respect his request.

As a result, she never visited her son at school during that period.

Reflecting on the experience, she explained that having a famous mother could create uncomfortable situations for young boys.

Son Also Encouraged Her to Marry Again

Apart from discussing her early career, Atiqa Odho has previously shared another important experience involving her son.

In an earlier interview, the actress revealed that Bilal encouraged her to consider marriage for a third time.

She discussed the matter while reviewing an ARY Digital drama in May.

According to the actress, her son personally approached her and suggested that she should get married again.

However, she admitted that making such a decision was not easy.

Her mother initially opposed the idea because she was concerned about society’s reaction.

The actress also worried that her two daughters might not support her decision to remarry.

Despite these concerns, her son remained supportive and encouraged her to move forward.

He even assured her that he would speak to his sisters and convince them to accept the decision.

Actress Reflects on Family Support

The veteran actress’s experiences highlight different stages of her relationship with her children.

During his school years, Bilal preferred to keep his mother’s celebrity status separate from his personal life.

However, as he grew older, he became an important source of support in her personal decisions.

Her latest podcast appearance offered viewers another glimpse into the challenges of balancing motherhood and a public career.
