Gates has long supported the idea of responsible wealth distribution and is a co-founder of the Giving Pledge, committing most of his fortune to philanthropy.
He believes that leaving too much money can be more of a burden than a gift, and wants his children to grow up with purpose, not privilege.
His approach echoes that of other billionaires like Warren Buffett, who also support the idea of modest inheritances for future generations.
