Changan Motors has joined other automakers in providing relief to consumers by reducing the price of its mid-size crossover, the Oshan X7. This move follows similar actions taken by Suzuki, KIA, Peugeot, and others in response to rising prices.
Effective from May 4 to June 15, 2024, the new prices for the Changan Oshan X7 are as follows:

– Oshan X7 Comfort: Old Price Rs. 8,299,000, New Price Rs. 7,999,000 (Reduction: Rs. 250,000)
– Oshan X7 FutureSense: Old Price Rs. 8,949,000, New Price Rs. 8,549,000 (Reduction: Rs. 400,000)
This reduction in prices follows a similar move by Changan Pakistan last year, where the price of its cars was lowered by Rs. 2.5 lakh. The decision to lower prices comes amidst a significant drop in sales for various automakers, with top models experiencing alarming price hikes. Notably, the Kia Stonic saw a 24% reduction in price, while the Swift price decreased by 13%. These adjustments are aimed at keeping prices below Rs. 4 million, excluding the record-high GST of 25% for cars.
