Rapper DDG has addressed backlash following his decision to gift his one-year-old son, Halo, a real Ferrari for his birthday. The 27-year-old artist, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., sparked controversy after revealing the lavish gift, surprising fans who expected a toy car instead.
DDG had initially asked his followers on X (formerly Twitter) for suggestions on a birthday gift, mentioning a Lamborghini, which led many to believe it would be a miniature version. However, the rapper revealed on Sunday that he had purchased an actual Ferrari for his son. The grand gesture was featured in a birthday celebration video on his YouTube channel, where Halo was seen playing with the steering wheel of the car.
