Celebrated filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, known for her blockbuster films and iconic dance numbers, is winning hearts again โ this time on YouTube.
Appearing on Kajol and Twinkle Khannaโs Prime Video talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, Farah candidly shared how she found joy and purpose in her new online venture.
โEven when my movie wasnโt happening, when I wasnโt directing, I said chal, let me do YouTube,โ she said with her signature wit. โI have three kids who will go to university next year, and thatโs bloody expensive. So, I thought, letโs start a show on YouTube โ and it just clicked!โ
The 54-year-old filmmaker, who last directed Happy New Year (2014), said that work continues to be her greatest source of happiness.
โYour life canโt revolve around another person. Happiness has to come from within and from your work,โ Farah said. โWork actually gives me a lot of pleasure. I can work till Iโm 80 because my work doesnโt depend on either my looks orโclearlyโnot my body, ever.โ
In the latest episode of Too Much, featuring Ananya Panday, Farah also recalled a hilarious moment when she once kicked a director out of her room. Ananya, meanwhile, shared her wish to act in a Tees Maar Khan sequel.
