Five-Year-Old Zayn Sofuoglu Reaches 194 MPH in Lamborghini Revuelto

Max Verstappen made motorsport history in 2015 as the youngest driver to compete in Formula 1 at just 17 years old. However, a five-year-old Turkish prodigy named Zayn Sofuoglu could one day surpass Verstappen, making the Dutch driver seem like a veteran.

Sofuoglu first gained attention in early 2023 when a video of him performing donuts in a Ferrari SF90 Stradale at just three years old went viral. Since then, he has continued to pursue his passion for motorsport on both two and four wheels. Most recently, he was given the chance to drive a Lamborghini Revuelto.

To handle the powerful plug-in hybrid supercar, Sofuoglu uses a baby seat, with the throttle and brake pedals adjusted to his reach. Under the watchful eye of his father in the passenger seat, the five-year-old accelerated the Lamborghini to an impressive 194 mph (312 km/h) on an empty runway.

This achievement not only makes Zayn faster than any other kid his age but also means he’s driven a car faster than most adults ever will.

To celebrate his high-speed run, Zayn performed a series of impressive donuts in the Revuelto, spinning the rear wheels and letting the powerful 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 roar.

Zayn’s father, Kenan Sofuoglu, is a former professional motorcycle racer with an impressive record. He won five world titles in the Supersport World Championship, amassing 43 wins and 84 podium finishes. He also competed in Moto2 in 2010 and 2011, though he didn’t make it to MotoGP, the sport’s top level.

Kenan has clearly passed his passion for motorsport to his son, who has already found success in go-karting and motorcycle racing. Zayn is also skilled in skiing and snowboarding.
