Fugitive Gangster Arrested During Pushpa 2 Screening

Pushpa 2

Nagpur police arrested notorious gangster Vishal Meshram, wanted in 27 criminal cases, including two murders, during a screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The late-night operation at a local multiplex ended his ten-month run as a fugitive.

Meshram, a fan of Allu Arjun’s character Pushpa Raj, unknowingly led authorities to him. Police deflated his vehicle’s tyres to block escape and strategically apprehended him mid-screening. Known for violent offenses and drug peddling, Meshram was later transferred to Nagpur Central Jail.

The film’s release, however, faced tragedy with a stampede during a screening claiming a woman’s life and critically injuring a child. Protests erupted demanding compensation, and actor Allu Arjun issued a public apology for the incident.

Despite controversies, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues breaking box office records, solidifying its place as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
