Renowned Pakistani actress and model Kiran Malik has criticized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for claiming credit for Arshad Nadeem’s gold medal win at the Paris Olympics.
Arshad Nadeem set a new Olympic record with a 92.97-meter throw in the javelin event, fulfilling the nation’s hopes and bringing great pride to Pakistan.

Despite Nadeem’s historic achievement, a video surfaced of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif celebrating the victory, accompanied by Youth Affairs Advisor Rana Mashhood. In the video, Rana Mashhood attributed the success to Sharif’s vision.
As the video spread on social media, both users and celebrities strongly criticized the Prime Minister.
Actress and model Kiran Malik responded on social media with sarcasm, questioning, “Did you provide Arshad Nadeem with opportunities? No, he achieved everything through his own efforts. You didn’t even offer him basic facilities like a gym.”
She also directed comments at Rana Mashhood, saying, “Respect Arshad Nadeem, who has brought pride to Pakistan on the global stage.”
Malik concluded by accusing them of being more interested in their own gain than in supporting Nadeem.
