LAHORE: An old video involving actress Momina Iqbal and Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar has resurfaced online. The development has renewed discussion around their ongoing dispute.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has issued fresh notices to both parties. The agency formed a special investigation team after new digital evidence emerged.
The team was directed to examine new evidence and earlier records. It was also given one month to complete its inquiry. Officials said further action would depend on the investigation’s findings.
The NCCIA has also said it would be premature to declare either party guilty or innocent. The investigation therefore remains ongoing.
A Lahore court recently disposed of pre-arrest bail petitions involving Saqib Chadhar and his wife. The petitions were withdrawn after the investigating officer said arrests were not required at that stage.
Saqib Chadhar has disputed allegations made against him. He has also presented his own account of the dispute in public statements.
