In response, Big Bang Production, the show’s producer, issued a statement clarifying that the location, including any assets like the painting, was rented for filming. They asserted that the painting belonged to the venue, not the production.

Big Bang Production stated they were unaware of the painting’s original ownership and had no involvement with the artwork’s provenance issues. They advised the artist to contact Mohatta Palace directly to resolve the matter.

The statement also sought to reassure fans and stakeholders that the production team acted in good faith and followed legal and ethical standards in the creation of the popular drama serial.
