Kareena Kapoor Urges Media To Respect Family’s Privacy After Saif Ali Khan Attack

Kareena Kapoor has called on the media and paparazzi to respect her family’s privacy following a violent attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan. The incident occurred on January 16 during a break-in at their Bandra residence, where Saif sustained serious injuries while protecting his household.

Despite Kareena’s earlier plea for privacy, media attention has intensified, with paparazzi swarming their residence and Lilavati Hospital, where Saif is recovering. Kareena expressed her frustration after a video of staff carrying toys into their home went viral. Sharing it on Instagram, she wrote, “Stop this now. Have a heart. Leave us alone, for God’s sake,” but later deleted the post.

The actor reiterated her request for boundaries in a previous post, stating, “This has been an incredibly challenging time for our family. While we appreciate the concern, the constant scrutiny poses a significant risk to our safety.”

Dr. Nitin Dange, overseeing Saif’s treatment, confirmed the actor underwent multiple surgeries and is now stable. Recalling Saif’s bravery, Dr. Dange said, “He walked into the hospital like a lion, covered in blood. He’s recovering well and will remain under observation.”

Police are treating the incident as an attempted burglary and have launched an investigation, filing charges under several sections of the Indian Penal Code.
