Mahira Khan expressed heartfelt admiration for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan as he celebrated his 60th birthday on November 2. The Pakistani actress, who starred alongside him in the 2017 film Raees, shared a touching Instagram Story to mark the special day.
Posting a fan-made video featuring moments from their movie and interviews, Mahira Khan wrote, “His no 1 fan. Only Shah Rukh Khan. Do I say it enough? Well to him I do… and I will never ever get tired of it.” She went on to call the actor “my one and my only Gangsta Sufi,” a phrase that immediately caught fans’ attention across social media.
The video highlighted several clips of Shah Rukh Khan speaking fondly of Mahira. In one interview, he said, “She’s beautiful. She’s really nice. She’s extremely cool. And I think a wonderfully different actor.” In another, the Bollywood icon added, “Mahira, of course, there’s no question about it. Because I think she’s extremely beautiful, extremely lovely. And she’s a fantastic actor. Mahira Mahira hai (Mahira is Mahira).”
