TikToker Mr Patlu has appealed for justice following a wedding-related gathering in Sialkot that left two people dead and several others injured. The social media personality is facing legal trouble after police registered a case against him and other individuals linked to the event.

In a recent video statement, Mr Patlu defended his role in organising the gathering. He claimed that he had obtained official permission before arranging the celebrations.

The TikToker questioned why he was being held responsible for what he described as an unexpected tragedy. He also alleged that influential people who previously associated with him had abandoned him after the incident.

Mr Patlu Claims He Obtained Official Permission

Mr Patlu maintained that he secured a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before proceeding with the event. He argued that an accident involving a large crowd should not automatically make him responsible for the deaths and injuries.

According to his statement, the gathering was intended to help financially struggling families. He said he wanted to arrange marriages for underprivileged girls and support people facing financial difficulties.

However, district authorities have presented a different account of the permission process. Officials reportedly said the event was initially approved under specific conditions. They later withdrew the permission after alleged violations of those conditions.

The conflicting statements have made the status of the NOC a key issue in the ongoing investigation.

TikToker Alleges Influential Figures Abandoned Him

In his video, Mr Patlu accused influential individuals of using their association with him for personal interests. He claimed that these people stopped supporting him after the tragedy.

He said several well-connected figures had maintained regular contact with him before the incident. However, he alleged that they were no longer standing by him during his legal difficulties.

The TikToker did not name the individuals he accused. He also did not provide evidence supporting these allegations.

His claims have added another dimension to a case already drawing public attention.

Mr Patlu Cites Health Problems

The social media personality also explained why he had not appeared before investigators. He claimed that his health had deteriorated significantly following the incident.

According to his statement, he could not get out of bed or walk properly. He argued that his physical condition had prevented him from appearing before police authorities.

These medical claims have not been independently verified. It also remains unclear whether he has submitted supporting documents to investigators.

Mr Patlu appealed to Field Marshal Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for intervention. He maintained that he intended to organise a celebration and help disadvantaged families.

Authorities Reportedly Withdrawn Event Permission

According to the district administration’s account, the organisers initially received permission for a private Mehfil-e-Sama and qawwali programme. The approval reportedly included restrictions on the event’s timing and arrangements.

Officials said the programme was scheduled to begin after Isha prayers. However, activities allegedly started around 4 p.m., contrary to the approved schedule.

The administration stated that Deputy Commissioner Awais Mushtaq cancelled the NOC before the gathering proceeded. Investigators are examining whether organisers continued despite being informed of the cancellation.

Two People Killed in Sialkot Gathering

The incident occurred at Faraz Stadium on Daska Road in Sialkot during celebrations associated with Mr Patlu’s wedding. The gathering attracted a large crowd after organisers announced prizes, including 50 motorcycles and a car.

The prize distribution reportedly drew participants from different areas. Police accounts suggest that the crowd became difficult to control near the stadium entrance.

The situation allegedly worsened when attendees moved towards the venue together. Several people fell during the rush, while others were reportedly trampled.

The incident claimed the lives of Muhammad Aqeel and Muhammad Rehan. Several other participants also sustained injuries.

Police subsequently registered a criminal case against Mr Patlu and other people allegedly involved in organising and managing the gathering. The allegations include negligence, violations of event conditions, and inadequate crowd-control arrangements.

Some suspects were reportedly taken into custody as investigators examined the incident. The investigation will help establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths and the responsibilities of those involved.

The case remains under investigation, with Mr Patlu’s claims and the district administration’s account presenting different versions of the events.
