NCCIA Report Creates Buzz in Momina Iqbal Case — Key Details Emerge

National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has reportedly found Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar responsible during an investigation into a case filed by actress Momina Iqbal over alleged harassment and threats.

The development came during proceedings at a sessions court in Lahore. Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Siddiqui heard interim bail petitions submitted by Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Sameera.

During the hearing, lawyers from both sides appeared before the court. Advocate Adnan Ehsan represented actress Momina Iqbal, while Rana Maroof appeared on behalf of Saqib Chadhar.

The investigation officer informed the court about the progress of the case. According to the officer, the inquiry against Saqib Chadhar had been completed. The investigation team reportedly found him responsible in the matter.

The officer also informed the court that Sameera had provided her mobile phone to the NCCIA two days earlier. The device has been sent for forensic analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.

The case was registered after a complaint submitted by Momina Iqbal regarding allegations of harassment and threats. The actress approached authorities, leading to an investigation by the cybercrime agency.

During the hearing, the lawyer representing the actress requested the court to reject the bail applications. The lawyer argued that releasing the accused individuals could create concerns for the actress’s safety.

The court listened to arguments from both sides and decided to continue the interim bail of Saqib Chadhar and his wife. Their bail has been extended until September 3.

The court has also directed lawyers to present final arguments at the next hearing. Further proceedings will determine the future course of action in the case.
