The Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting summoned Netflix India’s content head, Monika Shergill, leading to the change.

Shergill confirmed the update, stating the new disclaimer now includes both real and code names of the hijackers, as used during the 1999 event.

The series, inspired by the true events of the 1999 hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight 814, continues to stream on Netflix.
