Former Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton has been arrested on DUI charges in Fairmont, West Virginia. The incident occurred on May 17, 2025, marking another troubling chapter in the 57-year-old gymnast’s life.
According to court records, Retton was charged with one misdemeanor count for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She was released after posting a $1,500 personal recognizance bond in Marion County, where she currently resides.
