Actor Penn Badgley and his wife Domino Kirke have welcomed identical twin boys, bringing their family to four children. The couple announced the news on Wednesday through an Instagram video tied to Badgley’s upcoming live event for his new book, Crushmore.
“Interrupting twin paternity leave to announce a live event @podcrushed at @symphonyspace Oct 14 NYC supporting the release of our book CRUSHMORE. Truly proud of this one,” Badgley wrote, sharing a video of the tiny babies. In the clip, he quietly showed their small feet, saying, “I don’t want to wake them up.”
The twins join the couple’s 4-year-old son and Kirke’s 16-year-old son, Cassius, from a previous relationship. With this, Penn Badgley and Kirke now have a family of six.
Badgley has previously spoken about the challenges and responsibilities of raising boys. “They’re identical boys, so now we have four boys. The world needs more good men, so pressure’s on us to raise them well,” Kirke shared during an interview at the Netflix You series finale premiere.
The Gossip Girl alum also discussed his “dad superpower.” He admitted, “It’s my patience until I’ve lost it — and then I’m just as bad as anybody else. But, I can be very patient.”
