Simran Singh, a renowned freelance radio jockey from Jammu and Kashmir, tragically died by suicide in Gurugram, according to police reports. Known as RJ Simran to her nearly seven lakh Instagram followers, she was a beloved figure in the digital and radio space.
The 25-year-old’s last Instagram reel was shared on December 13, just days before her body was discovered in her rented apartment in Gurugram’s Sector 47. A friend staying with her alerted the police, and she was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Police confirmed that no suicide note was found at the scene. Her family mentioned that Simran had been distressed for some time but clarified that she did not hold anyone responsible for her actions. They have not filed any formal complaint.
