Pakistani actress Rabia Noreen has spoken openly about her marriage to veteran actor Abid Ali. She shared personal memories and the emotional journey that led to their union. Her comments came during an appearance on The Night Show with Farah Sadia.
Rabia said her relationship with Abid Ali developed slowly over time. She described their bond as something destined. “Our union was written by Allah,” she said during the interview. She explained that their connection began on a drama set but took years to grow stronger.
According to Rabia, it took nearly three years for them to decide on marriage. She admitted that both of them had serious concerns. At that time, Abid Ali was already married and had family responsibilities. This made the decision more complicated.
Rabia said she had many reservations about entering the marriage. She did not want to disturb his existing family life. She added that Abid Ali also worried about balancing responsibilities. He was a thoughtful and mature person, she said. Because of this, she did not pressure him to make a quick decision.
She explained that their final decision came after careful discussion. Both understood the challenges ahead. Rabia said it was not an easy choice for either of them. However, they believed their relationship was meant to be.
Rabia Noreen also recalled her first meeting with Abid Ali. She said they met on an airplane while she was working as a cabin crew member. However, their real connection formed later during a drama shoot in Quetta. That project allowed them to interact more closely.
Abid Ali was a respected name in Pakistan’s television and film industry. He built a strong reputation through decades of work. His performances earned praise from viewers and critics alike. Abid Ali passed away in 2019, leaving behind a lasting legacy.
