LAHORE – Pakistani YouTuber and social media influencer Rajab Butt has once again become the center of controversy after multiple allegations surfaced online.
Known for his family vlogs, luxury lifestyle, and bold personality, Rajab Butt commands a massive following with over 8.2 million subscribers on YouTube and 2.7 million followers on Instagram. The influencer married Eman Butt in December 2024, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2025.
However, his public image took another hit recently when several women accused him of having illicit relationships, with some claims suggesting these affairs continued even after his marriage. The controversy quickly gained attention across social media platforms, reigniting debates about influencers’ private lives and accountability.
Earlier, Rajab Butt had also faced legal issues in Pakistan over the alleged promotion of betting applications. During that period, he reportedly moved to the United Kingdom, where he continued producing content for his followers.
Amid the growing criticism, Rajab Butt’s mother came forward in his defense, sharing an emotional statement. “I was also hurt when I saw his vlog,” she said. “When he admitted to his relationships, I felt sad. But every person, especially boys, has a past. We should forgive those who sincerely repent before Allah. Allah is merciful and forgives those who repent with true hearts.”
Her remarks, however, sparked strong reactions online. Many social media users criticized her comments, describing them as a “typical desi mother’s defense” of her son’s mistakes. Others argued that public figures should be held accountable for their actions regardless of fame.
