YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala returned to Islamabad late last night, drawing attention due to multiple ongoing investigations. Their arrival at New Islamabad Airport was closely monitored, but they avoided arrest thanks to protective bail granted by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
According to sources, Rajab Buttโs flight was expected at 11:15 PM. Both social media personalities remained inside the airport for several hours before leaving under the protection of their private security guards. They did not interact with any law enforcement officials during this time.
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had issued clear instructions ensuring that Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala would not be arrested upon arrival. Justice Raja Inam Amin directed that they should instead appear before the high court, providing safe passage from the airport.
On Wednesday morning, IHC Justice Inam Amin Minhas heard the petition seeking protective bail. The petitionersโ lawyer requested 15-day protective bail to allow sufficient time to respond to a case registered against them in Karachi. The court granted 10-day transit bail and instructed the duo to approach the relevant court within this period.
Both Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala proactively obtained protective bail before traveling back to Pakistan. This legal step enabled them to return without fear of arrest, despite active investigations.
The social media stars face several cases, including allegations related to a gaming app and violations under the cybercrime laws. These cases were registered by the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCIA) in September. Authorities confirm that investigations are ongoing, and both individuals are required to appear in court as per the IHCโs instructions.
