Reggie Carroll, 'Knockout King of Comedy,' Shot Dead at 52 in Mississippi

Comedian Reggie Carroll, famously known as “The Knockout King of Comedy,” has tragically passed away at the age of 52. He was shot in Southaven, Mississippi, on Wednesday, August 20, according to the Southaven Police Department (SPD).

Authorities reported that police and medical personnel responded after receiving a call about a shooting. Reggie Carroll was found with gunshot wounds at the scene. Medical teams performed life-saving measures, but he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

One suspect has been taken into custody and charged with the murder of Reggie Carroll. The SPD extended condolences to Carroll’s family and thanked the community for their patience and understanding during the investigation.

“This is why I say treat people the best you can because you never know if you’ll get a chance to see them again… our time together was amazing,” she wrote, as reported by Deadline.
