Pakistan T20 captain Salman Ali Agha has addressed recent social media rumors claiming he unfollowed teammate Babar Azam on Instagram. Speaking at a post-match press conference after Pakistan’s 3-0 series whitewash of Bangladesh, Salman clarified that he never followed Babar on the platform.
“I never followed Babar Azam on Instagram, so there is no question of unfollowing him. People just make things up,” he said. Salman further revealed that Babar has been a close school friend since 2008, long before social media was common, and that they both found the rumors amusing.

The comments came after Pakistan’s convincing win in the final T20I at Gaddafi Stadium, where Mohammad Haris scored an unbeaten century to help chase down 197 with seven wickets in hand. This victory sealed Pakistan’s clean sweep of the three-match series against Bangladesh.
