Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has dismissed claims that he has ruined lives or careers in the film industry. The actor addressed the issue during the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, where he responded to long-standing accusations.
The discussion began when host Shahnaz Gill welcomed her brother, Shahbaz Badisha, as a wild card entry on the show. While speaking to the actor, Gill highlighted that Salman Khan had played a key role in launching several new talents in Bollywood. She suggested that he might also guide her brother’s career.
However, Salman Khan quickly clarified his position. He firmly stated that he is not responsible for making or breaking anyone’s career. “People accuse me of destroying lives in the industry,” he said. “But I cannot even ruin my own. Everything is decided by the One above.”
The 58-year-old actor has been a mentor to many newcomers over the years. Despite this, he stressed that success in Bollywood does not depend on him or any other individual. Instead, it is determined by talent, persistence, and destiny.
Salman Khan also emphasized that while he has supported several actors and filmmakers, their achievements belong solely to their own efforts. He added that blaming one person for failure is unfair in an industry driven by audience choices and changing trends.
