Salman Khan has resumed shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar, sticking to the planned schedule despite recent death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The actor began filming on October 22, with tight security measures in place to ensure his safety.
Sources close to the production confirmed that there have been no disruptions to Khan’s work commitments, which also include filming Bigg Boss 18. He plans to continue shooting through the Diwali festivities next week.
Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is one of the most anticipated films set to release on Eid, March 30, 2025. The film features a star-studded cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, and Kajal Aggarwal, following Khan’s appearance in Tiger 3, which was released during Diwali 2023.

To bolster his security, Khan has acquired a Nissan Patrol SUV imported from Dubai, equipped with bulletproof armor and advanced safety features. This vehicle, valued at around $240,000, is now a crucial part of his enhanced protection measures amid rising concerns for his safety.
The recent threats include a demand for over $600,000 from the Bishnoi gang, warning that failure to comply could lead to dire consequences for the actor. This isn’t the first instance of Khan being targeted; he previously received threats and had security heightened after an attempted break-in at his farmhouse.
Despite the threats, Khan remains committed to his projects and is determined to proceed without delay.
