TikTok star Samiya Hijab has sparked controversy after claiming that her clothes are getting “shorter day by day” due to the mindset of the Pakistani nation. In a viral video, the influencer accused both the public and the government of pushing her to leave Pakistan because of their judgmental attitudes.
In the widely circulated clip, Samiya Hijab expressed frustration over how people in Pakistan constantly criticize her dressing style and personal choices. She stated that her changing wardrobe was not her fault but a reflection of the “narrow-minded thinking” of the society around her. “It’s the nation’s fault,” she said. “Their mindset has made life difficult for me.”
The TikTok influencer went on to say that she felt equally disappointed in the government and the public. According to Samiya Hijab, both share the same mentality and fail to support creative individuals like her. “The government and the people are mixed — everyone is the same inside,” she remarked.
Drawing comparisons, Samiya mentioned YouTuber Rajab Butt, who left Pakistan a few months ago and settled abroad. “They did the same to Rajab Butt,” she said, adding that he, too, faced criticism and mental pressure. Samiya explained that both of them now live outside Pakistan, frequently moving between countries to escape negativity and social pressure.
Currently, Samiya confirmed that she is living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), where she continues to post on Instagram. However, she has made her TikTok account private, citing increasing online hate.

Although Samiya did not clarify whether her stay abroad is permanent, many believe she has left Pakistan for good due to continuous online trolling and lack of acceptance for her lifestyle choices.
