Sannia Ashfaq Says She and Children Forced to Leave Home After Imad Wasim’s Remarriage

Sannia Ashfaq Says She and Children Forced to Leave Home After Imad Wasim’s Remarriage

Weeks after former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim’s second marriage, his ex-wife Sannia Ashfaq has raised concerns about her living situation. She claims that she and her children are being asked to leave their current home.

In an Instagram post, Sannia Ashfaq wrote, “I never imagined I would have to speak publicly about something so personal, but the situation my children and I are facing has left me with little choice.”

Ashfaq said she was informed by Imad Wasim that the contract for their home was being cancelled. She claims they are being asked to move to Manchester, a city where they have no family or support system.

“My children’s lives, schools, friends, and sense of stability are here,” Sannia Ashfaq wrote. “Being faced with losing our home and being asked to move somewhere completely unfamiliar is incredibly distressing, especially when my only priority has always been their safety, stability, and wellbeing.”

She added that she is “doing everything I can to protect my children and keep their lives as stable and secure as possible.”

The claims come amid ongoing public disputes between the former couple following their separation and divorce last year. Sannia Ashfaq and Imad Wasim, who married in 2019, have three children together. Ashfaq maintains that she is raising the children alone and alleges that Wasim has neglected his financial responsibilities.

Imad Wasim remarried in February this year to lawyer and social media influencer Nyla Raja. The announcement of the wedding came months after Sannia Ashfaq accused her then-husband of involving a third party in their relationship.

Sannia Ashfaq’s public statement highlights her concern for her children’s wellbeing and the challenges she faces as a single parent amid ongoing disputes with her former husband.
