Sheikha Mahra, daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has once again captured global attention. A year after announcing her divorce from Emirati businessman Sheikh Mana in July 2024, Sheikha Mahra is now engaged to Moroccan-American rapper French Montana.
The news was first reported by TMZ, confirming rumors that had been circulating for months. According to the report, the couple made their relationship public during Paris Fashion Week in June 2025.
Shortly after, they announced their engagement, following in the footsteps of celebrity couple Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce, who revealed their engagement around the same time.
Since going public, Sheikha Mahra and French Montana have been seen together at several high-profile spots. They have been photographed dining at luxury restaurants in Dubai and Morocco, visiting mosques, and sharing moments at Paris’s famous Pont des Arts bridge.
Their appearances fueled speculation, which has now been officially confirmed with their engagement announcement.
Sheikha Mahra is well-known in the UAE not only as a royal but also as a philanthropist and equestrian enthusiast. She studied in Dubai before completing her degree in International Relations in London.
Her mother, Zoe Grigorakos, is of Greek origin and divorced from Sheikh Mohammed years ago.
Previously, Sheikha Mahra shocked her followers with a short Instagram post announcing her divorce from Sheikh Mana. The two married in April 2023 and welcomed a daughter in May 2024. Following the split, both removed each other from social media.
