Bollywood playback icon Sonu Nigam recently took to Instagram after his Jaipur concert to address an incident involving politicians leaving mid-performance.
“During the Rising Rajasthan concert, I noticed the Chief Minister and other delegates leaving halfway through,” he said. Sonu emphasized that such behavior disrespects artists, a contrast to global standards. “In America, I’ve never seen a president walk out midway during a performance,” he noted.

Urging politicians to avoid attending if they cannot stay, Sonu remarked, “Leave before the show starts. To exit in the middle is insulting, not just to me but to all artists.”
Sonu’s remarks follow his recent contribution to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, where actor Kartik Aryan praised his “heart-wrenching voice” as integral to the film’s climax.
