Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) is reportedly set to miss his annual birthday celebration with fans on November 2.
The actor will turn 61 this year but may not attend his traditional meet-and-greet event in Mumbai.
According to Indian media reports, his busy shooting schedule for the upcoming film King is behind the expected cancellation.
The development may disappoint thousands of fans who look forward to celebrating the actor’s birthday every year.
However, reports suggest that another fan gathering could take place before the film’s theatrical release.
Shah Rukh Khan Busy Shooting for King
According to NDTV, Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on several musical sequences for his upcoming action film King.
The actor has reportedly been filming a song alongside Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone in Mumbai.
He is also expected to travel to London for additional filming commitments.
These back-to-back shooting schedules could prevent him from attending his annual birthday gathering.
The actor has not officially confirmed whether he will organize a special event on November 2.
However, industry sources suggest that his work commitments will take priority this year.
SRK May Meet Fans Before King’s Release
Although the birthday gathering appears unlikely, fans may still have an opportunity to meet their favorite superstar.
According to media reports, Shah Rukh Khan could arrange a special fan event before the release of King.
The film is reportedly scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 24, 2026.
Sources suggest that a gathering could be organized before the theatrical release.
Such an event would allow fans to interact with the actor and celebrate his upcoming project.
However, no official date or venue has been announced for the possible gathering.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Birthday Tradition in Mumbai
Shah Rukh Khan has maintained a special connection with his fans through his annual birthday celebrations.
In previous years, large crowds gathered outside his iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, to wish him a happy birthday.
The actor traditionally greeted fans from his home, creating memorable moments for his supporters.
More recently, he has organized special gatherings at Mumbai’s Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir.
These events allow selected fans to meet the superstar in a more organized setting.
Attendees usually receive passes and gather at the venue to participate in the celebrations.
During these sessions, fans can ask questions, listen to the actor, and share memorable experiences.
Media representatives are generally not allowed inside these private gatherings.
Mannat Renovations Also Affect Birthday Plans
Another factor affecting the celebrations is the ongoing renovation of Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai residence.
The actor has temporarily moved out of Mannat while construction and renovation work continues.
As a result, his traditional birthday appearance outside the property is already uncertain.
However, reports suggest that his international filming schedule is the main reason behind this year’s expected absence.
The actor is likely to remain occupied with professional commitments during his birthday celebrations.
