‘Thamma’ Trailer Release Today: Ayushmann-Rashmika’s Horror-Comedy Joins Maddock’s Universe

Thamma Trailer Release

The much-awaited Thamma trailer release is scheduled for today, adding a new chapter to Maddock Films’ expanding horror-comedy universe. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles and will hit theatres this Diwali.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Thamma is described as a romantic horror-comedy. It follows Maddock’s successful lineup that includes Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and the upcoming Stree 2.

Each film has contributed to building a franchise that combines supernatural themes with humour, and Thamma is expected to carry this trend forward.

Excitement around the project has been building for weeks. Fans are eager to see the on-screen chemistry between Ayushmann and Rashmika, a pairing that has drawn considerable buzz. The trailer launch event will be held at Mumbai’s Bandra Fort Amphitheatre this evening.

The unveiling will feature star appearances, including actress Shraddha Kapoor, producer Dinesh Vijan, and the film’s cast and crew. The event is scheduled to begin at 5 PM, with the trailer expected to go live between 5 and 6 PM.

After its official reveal, the trailer will be shared on Maddock Films’ digital platforms and the social media accounts of the lead actors.

The film is set for a theatrical release on October 21, 2025, aligning with the Diwali holiday period, a prime time for Bollywood box office success. With its blend of romance, horror, and comedy, Thamma is poised to be one of the most talked-about releases of the year.
