During the interview on a private TV podcast, Warda Malik answered several questions about her online presence and the backlash she receives. She explained that her journey began out of necessity, not fame. According to her, she had no choice but to earn for her family during difficult financial times.
Warda shared that her income supported major family expenses, including her brother’s wedding, household bills, and her father’s bypass surgery. She expressed that without her work on TikTok, these responsibilities would have been impossible to manage. She added that she had two options: marry a wealthy man and face mistreatment, or work and support her family. She felt choosing to earn money was the only dignified path.
With tears in her eyes, she described the abuse she receives online and in public spaces. She said that no matter what she does, people criticize her, and the harsh words hurt deeply. She also recalled a recent wedding where comments made about her were unbearable, yet she chose to remain strong and continue her work.
Warda revealed that her family also opposes her videos at times. However, due to financial needs and personal reasons, she plans to keep working despite the criticism.
In response to another question, she stated that she can earn up to 120,000 rupees in just 15 to 20 minutes on TikTok. She added that followers often send gifts during live sessions but also make inappropriate requests, which makes her uncomfortable.
