Young Stunners’ India Tour Cancelled Amid Controversy

Young Stunners

The highly anticipated India debut of Pakistan’s popular rap duo, Young Stunners, has ended in controversy. What began as a groundbreaking announcement in August by Rolling Stone India, revealing Talha Anjum and Talhah Yunus’ planned December tour across Mumbai, Bengaluru, and New Delhi, has quickly spiraled into a public fallout.

Rolling Stone India confirmed that the tour was officially cancelled, citing organizational and financial disputes, though the duo’s management has not elaborated on the specifics of why the shows were scrapped. The cancellation follows a string of earlier issues, notably the abrupt cancellation of a Sydney show, where the artists reportedly pulled out due to their management’s decision. Live Vibe Australia, a tour partner, expressed frustration, claiming that not only was the Sydney show cancelled at the last minute, but the booking fee had not been refunded. They also revealed that attempts to contact the Young Stunners’ team had gone unanswered, leaving fans and partners alike frustrated.

In response to the backlash, Young Stunners addressed the Sydney cancellation in a social media post, stating the decision was due to “unforeseen circumstances” and citing mismanagement and mistreatment by the event organizers. Their team also warned others to avoid working with Live Vibe and Desi Disco Entertainment, the companies behind the Sydney and India bookings.

The India tour cancellation adds to the mounting skepticism surrounding cross-border entertainment in the South Asian region, where logistical hurdles and tensions often complicate such ventures. Despite reassurances from the duo’s business manager in August that visa issues were the only roadblock, the saga continues to unfold with increasing disappointment among fans.
