Pakistani security forces killed 13 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The operation, which targeted a terrorist hideout based on intelligence reports, successfully neutralized the militants involved in various terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.

Following the operation, a sanitization process is underway to eliminate any remaining militants. The ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring peace and stability in the region.
This operation follows a previous incident on December 21, where 16 Pakistani soldiers were martyred while eight militants were neutralized in a clash in South Waziristan’s Makeen district.
