MULTAN – The administration of Nishtar Hospital has confirmed the disappearance of a large number of Electric Fans from its storage facility. Officials have now requested police action to investigate the alleged theft.
According to hospital sources, more than 2,100 Electric Fans were kept in the basement storage area. However, a recent internal inspection revealed that over 1,500 Electric Fans were missing from the facility.
The hospital administration initially denied reports of missing equipment. Later, it officially acknowledged the loss after completing a detailed review of inventory records.
Officials have now submitted a formal complaint to the Cantonment Police Station. The application was filed by the hospital’s security in-charge, Muzammil, who raised concerns about possible internal involvement.
Authorities suspect that individuals familiar with hospital operations may have had access to the storage area. The large-scale disappearance of Electric Fans has raised serious questions about internal security and management controls.
The hospital has requested a full criminal investigation to identify those responsible. Officials also urged law enforcement to recover the missing Electric Fans as soon as possible.
