A laboratory technician student has been accused of raping a female patient at Gulab Devi Hospital in Lahore.
The incident occurred on July 13, prompting police to file a First Information Report (FIR) against two suspects.

According to the FIR, the 18-year-old victim, from Nankana Sahib, was receiving treatment in the Amiruddin Ward when the main suspect, with the help of a friend, took her to a hospital washroom and assaulted her while the accomplice stood guard outside.
Police have arrested the primary suspect and are conducting raids to apprehend the accomplice. Cases of sexual abuse are unfortunately common in Pakistan and are increasing at an alarming rate.
