Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 Wraps Up in Balochistan; ISPR Reports 216 militants killed

Pakistan’s security forces have successfully completed Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan. The military’s media wing confirmed that 216 terrorists killed during the operation.

According to ISPR, the operation involved a series of swift and intelligence-driven actions. These efforts targeted Indian-sponsored terrorist elements active in the province. The militants were accused of attacking innocent civilians, including women and children.

The operation began on January 29, 2026. Security forces launched actions in Panjgur and areas near Harnai district. Credible intelligence had confirmed the presence of terrorists posing immediate threats to local residents.

During the initial phase, forces raided identified hideouts. These actions resulted in the elimination of 41 terrorists linked to Indian proxy networks. Officials said these militants were planning attacks to disrupt peace and development.

Following this phase, terrorists from Fitna al Hindustan launched desperate attacks. Security forces responded firmly and prevented further damage. Authorities then expanded operations to multiple locations across Balochistan.

A wider campaign of intelligence-based operations followed. These included combing and sanitisation actions to dismantle sleeper cells. Law enforcement agencies worked alongside security forces with intelligence support.

ISPR stated that careful planning and joint execution led to major success. As a result, 216 terrorists killed, weakening leadership and command structures. The operational capacity of terrorist networks was also severely reduced.

During the operation, forces recovered foreign-made weapons and explosives. Ammunition and advanced equipment were also seized. Early analysis suggests external logistical and financial support to these groups.

The operation came at a heavy cost. Thirty-six civilians, including women and children, lost their lives. Twenty-two personnel from security forces and law enforcement agencies were martyred.

ISPR paid tribute to the fallen personnel. The statement praised their courage, professionalism, and dedication. The nation stands united with the families of all martyrs.

Security officials reaffirmed their commitment to counter terrorism. Operations will continue under the National Action Plan. The goal remains the complete elimination of terrorist threats.

ISPR concluded that Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 reflects the resolve of Pakistan and the people of Balochistan. The mission highlighted a shared commitment to peace, unity, and development over violence.

The operation stands as a major step toward long-term stability. The large number of terrorists killed has significantly improved the security landscape in the region.
